Sandra, affectionately known as "Sandy," was born on September 9, 1937 in Washington to her loving parents Chester and Lois (Day) Lindsey. She received her education at Washington Public Schools. On December 18, 1955, Sandy united in marriage with Donald D. Kramer in Washington. Their union was blessed with five beautiful children who brought immense joy into their lives.
She was a stay-at-home mom until her children were in school, then she worked various jobs in the food industry. Sandy was fun-loving, feisty and sassy. She enjoyed reading, having coffee with her friends and watching TV, particularly Gunsmoke.
She loved her friends and family. Spending time with her children and grandchildren brought her great joy and of course her grand dogs, Max and Mendy.
Sandy's devotion to her faith was unwavering, as evidenced by her unwavering commitment to the Grace Baptist Church. She found solace in singing hymns, delving into scripture with dear friends, and tapping her feet along with the lively melodies of the Molly B Band (Polka). Additionally, she was a proud member of the VFW Auxiliary in Clyde, KS.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Don; her parents; stepmother, Dorothy Lindsey; step father, Jay Gould; son, Doug Kramer; and infant daughter, Cindy Kramer; and brothers, Ronald Lindsey and Jay D. Lindsey.
Survivors include sons, Michael Kramer, Timothy (Shay Nelson) Kramer; daughter, Mary Beth (Mose) Allen; daughter-in-law, Dianne Kramer and brothers, Roger Lindsey, Charles Lindsey; sister, Patricia Brubaker; and sixteen grandchildren and twenty-nine great grandchildren.
A memorial fund is established and will be designated later by the family. Contributions may be sent in care of Ward Funeral Home, Washington.
