Linda Ann Klozenbucher, 74, Washington, died Thursday, January 9, 2020 at her home. Visitation was Wednesday, January 15, from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. at Ward Funeral Home, Washington. A funeral service was held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, January 16 at the Morrowville Christian Church, Morrowville. Pastor Ron Brown officiated. Sheila Ouellette was organist and the congregation sang “In the Garden” and “The Old Rugged Cross.” Pallbearers were Ben Klozenbucher, Angela Klozenbucher Runge, Keith Bruna, Travis Lehman, Justin Lehman, Bruce Rogge, Jason Klozenbucher and Justin Klozenbucher. Burial was in the Washington City Cemetery. Linda was born December 11, 1945 to August and Grace (Koch) Dusin at Odell, NE. She graduated high school and on January 3, 1967 was united in marriage to John Klozenbucher. She was a member of the Morrowville Christian Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. Linda worked with John at their appliance store and she raised hogs on their farm. She worked for Marcon Pies, until her retirement, was a hardcore K-State fan and collected pig figurines. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, John in 2015; two infant daughters; stepson, Reggie Klozenbucher; brothers, William Dusin and Edward Dusin; and sister, Sharon Dusin. Survivors include stepson, Gary (Wanda) Klozenbucher, Manhattan, KS; stepdaughter, Marsha (Fritz) Vernon, Pleasant Dale, NE; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; brothers, Gary (Nola) Dusin, August "Red" Dusin, Bob (Carolyn) Dusin, all of Washington, KS; and sisters, Betty (Bernard) Rieth, Washington, KS and Grace (Mike) Bruna, Hanover, KS; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial fund has been established to the Morrowville Christian Church. Contributions may be sent in care of Ward Funeral Home, Washington.
