Janice K. Williams, 81, of Washington, KS, died December 27, 2021, at the Overland Park Regional Medical Center in Overland Park, KS. A private family funeral will be held at Ward Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Washington City Cemetery. Janice was born October 22, 1940, in Los Angeles, CA, daughter of Lawrence and Zelda (Doebele) Waser. In 1947, the family moved back to a farm north of Washington. She attended the Scruby one room schoolhouse and then Washington High School. On July 24, 1959, she married Norman “Pete” Williams at the United Methodist Church Parsonage in Washington. They were the parents of Danny, David, Lisa and Denise. Janice worked at Friendly Corners and was a supervisor at Endicott Clay Products for 27 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren in their various activities. She also enjoyed dancing and listening to music. Janice was a member of the United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Rita McClure and Juanita Waser; and great-granddaughter, Amanda Williams. Survivors include her husband, Pete; children, Danny Williams, Manhattan, KS, David Williams, Fairbury, NE, Lisa Miller, Fairbury, NE, and Denise (Kelly) Wagner, Belvidere, NE; sister, Beverly Fritz, Washington; three grandchildren, Kimberly Williams, Natasha Williams and Sydney Miller; and three great-grandchildren, Keilyn Saunders, Delaney Saunders and Grayson Williams.
