Harold Duane Myers, 79, Washington, died Monday, April 27, 2020 at his home. A private graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 8 at the Morrowville Cemetery. Harold was born July 2, 1940, southwest of Morrowville, the 5th child of Harold and Florence (Mahoney) Myers. He lived his life in Washington County, except for a year he spent in Colorado and time he was stationed in Vietnam, serving his country as a soldier in the U.S. Army. Harold farmed and worked for Kuhlman Motors in Washington for several years. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, LaVern Myers and Jim Myers; sisters, Fern Barnard and Mary Lou O'Bleness; nieces, Gwen O'Bleness, Patricia O'Bleness, and Tammy Myers; and nephews, Virgil Barnard in infancy and Vernon Barnard. Survivors include his sister, Geneva (Myers) Hiltgen, Mankato; twelve nieces and four nephews and several great nieces and nephews. A memorial fund is established and will be designated later.
