Damon M. Bowman, 40, Washington, passed away Friday, February 7, 2020 at his home. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m., Saturday, February 15, at the FNB Bank basement. The family will greet friends. Damon was born on November 21, 1979 in Topeka, Kansas. He graduated Topeka High School and later moved to Washington with his mother, Debra “DoDa” Wade Miller. He worked for Blue Valley Telemarketing in Home, KS. Damon was a generous, intelligent and kind person. He was passionate about animals and saving them and enjoyed watching the Chiefs and KU Basketball. Preceding him in death was his grandmother, Mary Ann Wade. Survivors include his mother, Debra “DoDa” Wade Miller; grandfather, Daniel P. Wade, Topeka; father, Michael Bowman, Topeka; aunts, Denise (Scott) Humphrey, Topeka, Dana (Ted) Bodnar, Atlanta, GA; uncle, Darren (Augie Kruz) Wade, Topeka; half-sister, Megan Haller, CA; brothers, Jordan and Erik L’Ecuyer and Justin Pahamie, Topeka; and his dogs, Bogey and Gypsy Rose. A memorial fund is established and will be designated later. Contributions may be sent in care of Ward Funeral Home, Washington.
