Bobbi Rokes

Bobbi Rokes,68, Washington, died July 1, 2018 in Wichita.  She was born on May 8, 1950 in Marshalltown, Iowa, the daughter of Ralph and Muriel Rokes.  She was a 1968 graduate of North Central High School.Bobbi attended a School of Cosmetology in Salina Kansas and settled after graduation in Washington Kansas. She spent the remainder of the life as a beautician, much of it as the owner and operator of Bobbi’s Beauty Salon. She considered her customers a second family.She is survived by her two sisters; Susan (David) Pascal of Andover Kansas, and Janet (Wade) Pascal of Wichita Kansas.She was Aunt Bobbi to her many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews whom she doted upon. Her favorite past time was gardening, as she loved flowers.A service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 22 at Ward Funeral Home in Washington.The family is having a lunch at  11:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church and are asking Bobbi's friends and customers to join them.A memorial fund has been established to the Theatre Park in Washington.  Contributions may be sent in care of Ward Funeral Home.
