Arthur F. DeHart, Sr.

Arthur Floyd DeHart, Sr. 77, Greenleaf, died Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at his home. SERVICES ARE PENDING Art was born in Topeka to Virgil and Darlene (Highfill) DeHart on September 19, 1943. He graduated from Seaman High School in Topeka. On December 24, 1964, he was united in marriage to Carolynn Anno in Topeka. To this union two children were born, Tarry and Arthur Jr. Art served and retired from the U.S. Army. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and just being outdoors. He was a member of the NRA. Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Carolynn in 2010; and sister, Shirley Gooden. Survivors include son, Arthur Floyd (Theresa Becker) DeHart Jr., Greenleaf; daughter, Tarry (Danny) Davis, Scandia; sisters, Ann Schiefelbein and Dee Thompson; and eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. A memorial fund is established and will be designated later. Contributions may be sent in care of Ward Funeral Home, Washington.
