Viola A. Stigge

Viola Stigge Viola Anna Hulda Stigge, 76, died Friday, October 27, 2006 at the Washington County Hospital. She was born Decemgber 7, 1929 in Strawberry Township, to Walter and Hulda (Reith) Beikman. Viola was a farmer and a homemaker. On December 26, 1948 Viola was united in marriage to Marvin Stigge at the Zion Lutheran Church in Linn. This union was blessed with 5 children. Viola was preceded in death by her parents; and husband Marvin, Nov. 3, 2000 and a grandchild. She is survived by sons, David Stigge, Alan Stigge and wife Kat, Washington; Susan Martin and husband Don, Hanover, Mary Pinkowski and husband Tim, Ft. Collins, CO., Lora Capell and husband Jim, Belton, MO; brothers, Donald Beikman and wife Tina, Hammonton, NJ, LeRoy Beikman and wife Marla, Dallas, TX, Raymond Beikman and wife Barbara, Independence, MO; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral service was held, Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at 10:30 at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Greenleaf. Pastor David Gruoner officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. Casketbearers were Matt Troy, Steve Martin, Jeremy Martin, Brenden Stigge, Jonathan Kisby and Kevin Goforth. A memorial was established in her name and will be designated by the family at a later time. Ward Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
