George Kellogg, 78, Linn, died Monday, May 29, 2006 at the Linn Community Nursing Home. He was born April 27, 1928 at Irving to Charles H. and Mabel (Sedlacek) Kellogg. George was a truck driver in commercial trucking. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was a former member of the VFW. George was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, John. He is survived by two sons, Kenny and wife Susan, Klamath Falls, OR, Randy and wife Heidi, Valley City, ND; a daughter, Debbie Rush and husband Dale, Valley City, ND; four brothers, Elmer and wife Loretta, Marysville, WA, Sam and wife Jenny, Olsburg, Gene and wife Joy, Andover, Glen, Washington, 4 grandsons and 1 granddaughter; and former sister in law, Mary Kellogg, Ottawa. Funeral service was held Saturday, June 3, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. in Greenleaf at the Ward Funeral Home. Pastor Phil Morris officiated. Burial was in Maplewood Cemetery, Barnes. A memorial was established to be designated by the family.
