Erna M. Wilkens

Erna Marie Wilkens, 90, died Thursday, March 9, 2006 at the Linn Community Nursing Home. She was born on January 2,1916 in rural Linn to George and Caroline (Roetter) Wilkens. Erna was a lifelong resident of the community. Erna was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Frank Wilkens and Herman Wilkens; and a sister, Selma Brandt. She is survived by a sister, Lula Wilkens, Linn and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held Monday, March 13, 2006 at 2:30 pm at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Linn. Burial was in the church cemetery. Casketbearers were Dwayne Wilkens, Dean Wilkens, Calvin Brandt, Scott Wilkens, Chris Wilkens and Doug Beikman.
