Doris M. Hill

Doris M. Hill stepped peacefully into eternity on October 2nd, 2015. She will be met there by her husband of 57 years, her brother, and five sisters. Survivors include her son, David; two daughters, Diane and Denise; three grandchildren, Vanessa, Jeremy, and Emily; and great-granddaughter, Jazlyn. Doris was the matriarch of her family and foundation that held it together. She will be remembered for her wonderful personality, funny stories, and bringing a smile to everyone’s face. She worked in payroll at St. John’s Hospital for 30 years and then at their credit union. Doris wrote a book about her life and started an internet service when it was in its infancy. We will always love and miss her. A funeral service was held Tuesday, October 13, at 1 p.m. in Ventura, CA. A graveside service was Friday, October 16 at the Washington City Cemetery.
