Linn, Kansas – Alice C. Bisping, age 85 of Linn died Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at the Washington County Hospital. The daughter of John and Lydia (nee Frese) Von Lehe, was born October 2, 1920 at Clifton, Kansas. Upon graduation from high school, Alice was united in marriage to Elmer H. Bisping on November 28, 1940 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Linn, Kansas. Alice was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Linn, Kansas and was a former member of the Dorcus Society. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Elmer on September 28, 1988; two brothers, Rudolph Von Lehe and Herbert Von Lehe; two sisters, Lisette Stolp and Theodora Beikman; one grandson, James Molzer; three son-in-laws, Dennis Molzer, Rick Kurina and Jerry Meyer. Alice is survived by two sons, Jerry Bisping and wife Tony Marie of Warner Robins, Georgia and John Bisping and wife Roschelle of Atchison, Kansas; three daughters, Joann Ohlde and husband Ewald of Palmer, Kansas, Patricia DeLorme of Beulah, Michigan and Linda Meyer of Marysville, Kansas; two brothers, Ervin Von Lehe of Linn, Kansas and Emil Von Lehe and wife Gladys of Chicago, Illinois; one sister, Lydia Helms and husband Wilbert of Linn, Kansas; 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday, December 16, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Linn, Kansas with Reverend David Gruoner officiating. Interment will be held at Zion Lutheran Cemetery at Linn. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 15, 2005 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Ward Funeral Home in Linn, KS. A memorial has been established.
