Dalayna Nichole (Diederich) Mohl, 32, of Colorado Springs, CO, died Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Colorado Springs. A funeral service was held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, August 7, at St. John’s Catholic Church. Father David Metz officiated. Janet Fritschi played the organ while the church choir sang. Music included "Here I Am Lord”, “Shelter Me O God”, “On Eagles Wings”, “You Are Mine” and “Angels Among Us”. The pallbearers were Justin Diederich, Shawn Diederich, Joe Porter, John Porter, Jim Porter, Jr., Roger Diederich and Ryan Diederich. The honorary pallbearers were Hunter Diederich, Jarrett Diederich, Elizabeth Diederich and Dakota Mills. Burial was in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery. Dalayna was born June 4, 1981 at Hanover, KS, daughter of Charles and Karen (Easton) Diederich. She attended school at Concordia, KS. On June 20, 2009 she married Troy Mohl at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Colorado Springs. Dalayna worked for Assurion Call Center, Wide Open West, and just recently received her CNA license. She enjoyed being a stay at home mom, cooking, crocheting, being with her family and friends, and playing Bingo with her mom. Survivors include her husband, Troy; two children, Aleah and Quinton; parents, Charles (Dee) Diederich, Salina, KS, and Karen (Gayle) Peterson, Waterville, KS; and two brothers, Shawn (Jacki) Diederich, Topeka, KS, and Justin (Cari) Diederich, Salina.
