Vivian Stelljes

VIVIAN STELLJES WASHINGTON – Vivian Stelljes, 87, died Tuesday September 20, 2005 at the Homestead Nursing Home. She was born at Linn on May 21, 1918 to George and Florence (Mickel) Wallace. Vivian was a seamstress and a homemaker. She married Edwin J Stelljes on March 12, 1938 at Belleville, KS. He preceded her in death on November 7, 1975. She was also preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Lowell Wallace and Leroy “Pete” Wallace. Vivian is survived by a son, Lloyd Stelljes and wife Ruth, Vian, OK; a daughter, Betty Kupcho, Torrington, CT; a sister, Leora “Babe” Green and husband Francis “Brownie”, Greenleaf, KS; sister in law, Lois Stelljes, Salina, KS; 6 grandchildren and 9 great children. The funeral service was held at the Ward Funeral Home, Washington, Friday, September 23, 2005 at 2:00 pm. Pastor Phil Morris officiated. Burial was in the Washington City Cemetery. Casket bearers were Bob Kenaston, David Stelljes, Kenny Bowen, Melvin Allerheiligen, George Wallace and Dennis Wallace. A memorial fund was established to be designated by the family.
