Haddam, KS – Michael Dennis L’Ecuyer, age 50 of Haddam, KS, died July 17, 2005 at the Washington County Hospital in Washington. Michael, the son of John H. and Bernadette A. (Reedy) L’Ecuyer, was born September 29, 1954 at Washington. Michael was a graduate of North Central High School at Morrowville, KS. He was a lifelong resident and farmer of Washington County. Michael was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church at Morrowville, KS. He was preceded in death by his father, John Henry L’Ecuyer on April 4, 2000. Michael is survived by his mother, Bernadette of Haddam, KS; four brothers, Daniel L’Ecuyer and wife Deanna of Morrowville, Francis L’Ecuyer and wife Christine of Haddam, KS, Reginald L’Ecuyer of Manhattan, KS and Mark L’Ecuyer and wife Renee’ of Columbia, South Carolina; seven sisters, Julianna Bell and husband Jim of Concordia, KS, Monica Dusin and husband Red of Washington, KS, Christina L’Ecuyer of Lansing, KS, Margaret L’Ecuyer of Beatrice, NE, Dr. Paula L’Ecuyer of Washington D.C., Susan L’Ecuyer of Marlton, New Jersey and Victoria L’Ecuyer of Manhattan, KS; also survived by nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 20, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church in Washington, KS with Father James Hoover and Sister Marilyn Wall officiating. Interment will be held at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery at Morrowville, KS. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 19, 2005 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church in Washington with a Vigil Service following the visitation at 7:00 p.m. A memorial has been established to St. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery Fund. Music for the service was provided by Carolyn Osborne and Robert L’Ecuyer. Casket bearers were Joe Reedy, Jim Reedy, Tom L’Ecuyer, Joe L’Ecuyer, Tim Dusin, Darian Dusin, Dewayne Rose and Steve James. Services conducted by Ward Funeral Home, Washington, KS.
