Catherine Grace Scott

MORROWVILLE-Catherine Grace Scott, 94 of Morrowville, KS passed away April 18, 2005 in Topeka, KS. Grace was born near Kimeo to Alexander and Isabel Spence on July 24, 1910. Prior to her marriage to Clinton Scott in 1943 she was a school teacher and WWII ship welder for the Navy. After marriage she was a homemaker, school cook and finished her working career as the head cook of the Washington County Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; two sisters; and one grandson. Grace is survived by two sons, Larry Scott and wife Myrna, Emporia, Kenneth Scott and wife Louise, Topeka; a daughter Catherine Flinchbaugh and husband Barry, Manhattan; 6 grandchildren and one great grandchild. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 am, Friday, April 22, 2005 at the Greenleaf City Cemetery. Pastor Wendell Sack will officiate. There will be no visitation.
