Virginia Rahe

LINN – Virginia G. Rahe, 92, died Thursday, May 19, 2005 at the Washington County Hospital, Washington. She was born in El Paso, IL, December 28, 1912 to Fred L and Laura M. (Patton) Bigger. Virginia married Lester Rahe, September 27, 1968 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Topeka. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband Lester, February 5, 2002; her parents; a son, Ronald Ray Bechtold; and three sisters, June Craven, Fordell Kozlowski, and Verdean Hogate. Virginia is survived by a son, Dennis Bechtold, Hutchinson, KS; a daughter, Donna Kurtz and husband Louis, Dallas, TX; two sisters, Amy Law and Irene Cook and husband Ed, of Peoria, IL; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral Service was held Monday, May 23, 2005 at the Zion Lutheran Church, Linn. Pastor David Gruoner officiated. Burial was in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Casket bearers were, Jeff Wiese, Chad Wiese, Todd Rahe, Jom Rahe, Tom Rahe. Billy Rahe and Jeffrey Bechtold. A memorial was established in her name to be designated at a later time by the family.
