Washington – Kevin Todd Graves, 44, Washington, died Saturday, September 15 at his home. He was born October 8, 1962 in Washington to James W. and Josephine (Stone) Graves. Kevin graduated from Washington High School in 1980 and graduated from North Central Kansas Technical College, Beloit. He worked as a mechanic at the Pony Express Truck Stop, for Mueller Sand and Gravel, drove a truck for Coca-Cola out of Wichita and was currently an over the road driver for Keim Trucking, Sabetha. He was an avid fan of baseball, especially the Royals and the Rockies, collecting baseball cards, being with his family and entertaining them with magic tricks. Kevin was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, John; and two sisters, Jolene and Jeannine Graves. He is survived by four brothers; Erwin Graves, Sacramento, CA, Leon Graves, Washington, Robert Graves and wife Betty, Haddam, Merlin Graves and wife Betty, Greenleaf; three sisters, Violice O’Connor and husband John, Lincoln, NE, Mary Burke and husband Claude, Lakewood, CO, Eunice Graves, Loveland, CO; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service for Kevin will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, at the Morrowville Christian Church. Pastor Ron Brown will officiate. Visitation is from 8:00 am to service time on Saturday at the church. Burial will be in the Greenfield Cemetery, Morrowville. A memorial fund has been established and will be designated at a later date.
