Edgar Uffman

Edgar Uffman, 85, Linn, died Friday, June 8, 2007 at the Linn Community Nursing Home. He was born September 14, 1921 at rural Linn to J.W. and Frieda (Tewes) Uffman. Edgar lived at rural Linn until 1986 then moved to Washington, moving back to Linn in 2006. He was united in marriage on December 12, 1941 to Laverna Buss and to this union two children were born. Edgar Was a lifetime farmer and maintained township roads for the greater part of his life. Edgar was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Laverna; his son, Denneth; and a grandson, Troy Dean Uffman; brothers, Clarence and Paul; and sisters, Ella Lohmeyer and Olga Lindhorst.. He is survived by his daughter, Joynita Strunk and husband Jerry, Jansen, NE; Sister Frieda Bosse, Emporia; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren FUNERAL SERVICE: GOOD SHEPHERD LUTHERAN CHURCH Date: TUES., JUNE 12, 2007 AT 10:30 A.M.
