Shirley Fell Woolen

Shirley L. Woolen was born March 16, 1921 at Waterville, Kansas the daughter of William A. Simnitt and Mary (Arganbright) Simnittt, and died June 6, 2007. Shirley is preceded in death by her first husband Andy Fell on September 22, 1973. On June 25, 1977 she was united in marriage to L. Dean Woolen here at The United Methodist Church, Washington, Kansas. Shirley worked for many years in the drug store here in Washington. She was a delightful woman who cared for her family, her church, and her community. She is survived by two sons Greg Fell and wife Diana of Concordia, and Rick Fell and wife Vicki of Emporia, Kansas, and a daughter Linda Hill and husband Dwight of Valdez, Alaska, and a step-son Donald Woolen and wife Goldie of Liberty, Missouri. And sisters Doris Wanamaker of Washington, and Ruth Frager of Lexington, Nebraska. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands Andy Fell and L. Dean Woolen, two brothers Noel Simnitt and Howard Simnitt, and sisters Alberta Kissack and Wilma Simnitt.
