Mary D. Turinsky

Mary Dottie Turinsky, 97, Washington, died Thursday, May 31 at the Homestead Nursing Home, Washington. Mary was born August 23, 1909 at Bogue, KS to Alvin Blaine and Martha Emeline (Barham) James. She married Frank Martin Turinsky on February 15, 1931 at the Catholic Church in Clifton. He preceded her in death on August 5, 1987. Mary was also preceded in death by her parents; great grandson, Jordan Popelka; 6 brothers, Alvin, Roy, Bert, Joseph, Frank, and Walter; and 5 sisters, Alta, Adah, Ellen, Tennessee and Martha. She is survived by two daughters; Barbara Popelka and husband Edward, Cuba and Evelyn Fulton and husband Simon, Washington; 11 grandchildren, 15 great great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Funeral service was held at the St Augustine Catholic Church, Washington, at 10:00 am on Tuesday, June 5, 2007. Burial was in the Washington City Cemetery.
