Patricia Sue (Eichman) Burton, 62, was born April 4, 1949 in Fairbury, Nebraska and went home to the Lord on June 11, 2011. A service was held 1:30 p.m., Saturday, June 18, 2011 at the Morrowville Christian Church, Morrowville. Pastor Wendell Sack officiated. Della Goldsberry played the organ while Ed Durst sang, “Beyond The Sunset”, “How Great Thou Art” and “Fill My Cup Lord.” Patricia attended Bryant Elementary School, graduated from William Chrisman High School in 1967 and attended Warrensburg where she received a Degree in Education. She was a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority, American Legion Auxiliary and Future Teachers of America. She enjoyed working with people and loved teaching. On May 31, 1980 she married Robert Dean Burton. They made their home in Haddam, Kan. Patricia was a very active member of the Morrowville Christian Church of Morrowville, Kansas. She played piano and organ, as well as taught classes and was involved in Vacation Bible School. Mrs. Burton was an active member of her community, ranging from judging local fairs, keeping score at basketball games or coaching cheerleaders. The word no or cannot did not belong in her vocabulary. She was very creative and worked on many projects over her lifetime. She was preceded in death by her father, Earl N. Eichman and sister, Sharon K. Stevenson. Survivors include her husband, Bob, Haddam; uncle, James Theodore Eichman, Independence, Mo.; sister, Deborah (Tim) Cochran, Independence, Mo.; brother, David (Dana) Eichman, Independence, Mo.; nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
