Lawrence Michael Long

Barnes – Lawrence Michael Long, “Mikey”, 20, Barnes, died Sunday, April 22, 2007 as a result on an automobile accident. He was born at Lee’s Summit, MO on November 9, 1986 to Michael E. and Marie (Swigart) Long. Mikey graduated from Linn High School in 2005 and was attending Kansas State University. Mikey was preceded in death by his father, Michael, April 19, 2002; and his Grammy Sugar (Fay Robbins). He is survived by his mother, Marie, Barnes; sisters, Chalene Long and Amber Schreiner and husband John, all of Waterville; his grandparents, Clarence and Carol Long, Linn; nephew, John Michael Schreiner, Waterville; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The funeral service was held at 9:30 am on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at the Linn High School. Pastor Phil Morris officiated. Burial was at St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery. Casket bearers were Cody, Meyer, Nik Holle, Clint Walter, Danny Hornkohl, Brock Savage, Wes Scheele, Kyler Ohlde, Cody Duitsman.
