Doris Wanamaker, 92, of Hanover, Kansas, longtime resident of Washington, Kansas, passed away Saturday, February 26, 2011, at Country Place Senior Living in Marysville, Kansas. Doris was born July 17, 1918, to William and Mary Isabelle (Arganbright) Simnitt. On July 23, 1936, she married Dean Wanamaker at Belleville, Kansas. Survivors include her son, Paul Wanamaker, Sagle, Idaho; daughter Ella Mae (Leo) Jueneman, Hanover, Kan.; grandchildren, Dawn Hill, Beatrice, Neb.; Todd and Scott Jueneman, Hanover; Audrey Wilson, Kurt Wanamaker and Kay Wiedmaier, Illinois; Mike Wanamaker, Arizona; Troy and Gina Wanamaker, Colorado; great-grandchildren, Heather Horst, Krista Sedlacek, Cami Bruna, Shelby, Jordan, Lindsey, Trevor and Devin Jueneman, Hanover; Lacey Byers, Marysville; great-great-grandchildren, Tyler, Brayden and Brysen Horst, Brody and Ryder Sedlacek, Hanover; sister, Ruth Fraeger, Lexington, Neb. sisters-in-law, Beth and June Simnitt; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dean, on Sept. 27, 1977; son, Larry, on Jan. 3, 2005; sisters, Wilma Lois, Alberta Kissack, Shirley Woolen; brothers, Noel and Howard Simnitt; brothers-in-law, Andy Fell, Clarence Kissack, John Fraeger and Dean Woolen.
